are we looking??

Summer camps have started for me, some 11 weeks non-stop of week-long camps with retreats sandwiched in between. There's isn't much busier work on the planet than this.

At night, briefly, I fly through the internet for news, weather, a quick check on the general state of things. So tonight, I read something forwarded to me supposedly by a Russian blogger and writer for Pravda, the Russian paper. I don't know if it is authentic or not, but it does make you think. It's his take on our rapid descent into Marxism. Might or not agree with all he says, but something to look at. His name is Stanislav Mishin, you can google him.

There can be no doubt that Americans are having a great deal of things done to them which can't be good, and that many of us are too occupied with "other" to notice. I notice on Facebook that most people are taking silly quizzes and already wondering how to fight summer boredom. Never have I had a problem with boredom in my lifetime. There's always too much to do, or too much going on. But, I pay attention to things. And I don't like what I see. We are indeed being taken for a gigantic ride. And many don't even know it.

My prayer is for people to wake up, young, old, and all in between. Our government is sticking us with debt we can never repay, nor can our kids or grandkids, if any are even around by then. Politics is perhaps at it's worst right now. But are we looking?
